The original, opened in 1955, is my favorite of all Disney parks. What the
parks in Florida offer in size, Disneyland offers in nostalgia. Due to the
lack of size, they have been forced to maximize space, and they have done so
brilliantly. While many people are already familiar with the park, I will
not make that assumption. Explore and enjoy.

 | This is the main entrance to the park. While
guests can board the Monorail from the Downtown Disney area to enter
as well, this should be the entry point for all first time guests.

Adventureland includes the best original attraction in the park, The
Jungle Cruise. |

| New Orleans Square
| The first land added to Disneyland after opening,
this area was sort of carved out of Frontierland but truly has a
life of its own. The attention to detail is impeccable, and the
shopping is first rate. |
